"It is not possible to cry after drinking a cup of black coffee." (13th century physician)

Greetings and welcome to our blog!  I'm so very excited that you stopped by-  my virtual hand is outstretched to shake yours.  I'm Jules, just one of the several individuals who will be contributing to this blog.  I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to Coffee Times Coffee House, the local biz behind the curtain.  Coffee Times opened in July of 1983 (the year I was born!) in the same location it is in now.  However, back then it was half the size it is now and only sold about 24 types of coffee compared to the over 100 types of varietals and flavors we currently sell.  All of our coffee is roasted and flavored by hand on site, daily.  We will be celebrating our 29th birthday this year.  And we are elated about it!

We are truly a family here and while most families raise their glass of wine to one another, you can find us raising our demitasse mug of freshly roasted, freshly pulled Italian espresso with the most perfect crema on top.  We value the art of coffee- from it's humble beginnings as a berry on a shrub to the green bean packed in a burlap bag to the oil that covers the dark roasted bean to the hot brewed liquid in a mug that has made mornings endurable for centuries.  And we can't forget the people who make this possible- the farmer, the roaster, and the barista.
Our hope is to inform you, laugh with you, and chat with you through our blog.  Just think of every post as a coffee date in your favorite local coffee shop- settle in and grab yourself a cup of joe.  Aren't you feeling all warm and cozy already?!
