Put that in your pot and drink it!

The City Roast, a roast just before Vienna, but is separated by just a ‘crack’. In general, roasts are classified as light, medium, and dark. Since Americans have adopted the European preferences of the darker roasts, United States roasters have developed an assortment of varying shades of roasts between light and dark. The City Roast is just that- a balance of shade between light and dark, or the fine line between Vienna and lighter roasts. This particular roast is medium brown color and has a dryer surface than a Vienna Roast or a French Roast. Lexington Coffee & Tea is continually experimenting with the City Roast and now Coffee Times’ latest addition is Indonesian City Roast. We’ve taken our Sumatran bean and roasted it to the City Roast, making this shop favorite earthy, bright, heavy bodied with a slight Vienna-style spice. Let the aroma of Indonesian City Roast fill your home as it does here, put some Indonesian in your pot and drink it. J
